Abstract: The electrochemical properties of multiphases Zn4Sb3C7and ZnSbC2as new lithium-ion anode materials were investigated. The composition and microstructures of these multiphase materials were analyzed by XRD and TEM. It was found that the addition of graphite modifies the microstructures of pure alloys. The capacities and the cycle stability of the anodes are greatly improved. The reversible capacity of Zn4Sb3C7reaches as high as 510 mAh/g at the first cycle, and keeps higher than 300 mAh/g after 10 charge/discharge cycles.
