Abstract: The electrowinning of Ni3S2 was designed to take place in a calorimeter in order to measurethe heat effect of the electrolysis with electrochemical calorimetry. The effect was determined un-der different cell voltuges ranging from 1.50 to 2. 16 V,and based on the data the heat effect of the anodic dissolution of Ni3S2 was figured out to be △aHm = 22. 4~99.0kJ.mol -1 (z=2)within the anode potentials 0.74~1.30 V(rs SCE).
Key words: electrochcmical calorimetry  heat effect  anodic process  potential distribution Ni3S2
