Abstract: Experiment of adding B4C, SiC, and Si powders to improve oxidation resistance of the C/C composites was carried out. The results show that the increase of oxidation resistance is remarkable when the contents of B4C, SiC, and Si powders are 10%, 10%, and 5% in the composites, respectively. The regularities and mechanism of the effects of the ceramic powders on the oxidation resistance of the composites were also discussed.
