Abstract: The formation and solubility of potassium aluminosilicate were studied. At low temperatures, potassium aluminosilicate, which in general is amorphous, can be easily crystallized in saturated aluminate solution, and the structure may be stratum or frame; its solubility depends on the concentration of caustic soda and temperature. The results indicated that low concentration of  K2O in aluminate solution has little effect on the current industrial alumina production.
