Abstract: Current chronopotentiometry has been useed to measure current efficiency(CE) of aluminium electrolysis in fused pure cryolite, industrial electrolyte and low melting point electrolyte. The effect of temperature, alumina content and other factors on CE has been investigated. The results obtained have been discussed by Lillebuen model.
