MICROSTRUCTURE AND CORROSION BEHAVIOR OF 70Cu-30Ni WELDED PIPE

Abstract: The microstructure and corrosion behavior of 70Cu-30Ni welded pipe were investigated by EMPA, SEM, immersion test and electrochemical method.The results showed that:(1)with the process of drawing and annealing, the composition and microstructure tend to uniform; (2) the corrosion rate of heat affected zone is greater than that of base material; (3) the corrosion rate of welded pipe is about the same as that of seamless pipe
