Abstract: The crystallization and kinetics of the boron component bearing MgOB2O3-SiO2 slag with TiO2 and ZrO2 as additive agents were investigated by X-ray diffraction, differential thermal analysis, scanning electron microscopy and infrared ray spectrum. The results showed that additive TiO2 and ZrO2 decreased the activation energy of crystallization and improved the phase separation, that make the crystalline phase precipitate easily, the efficiency of extraction of boron(EEB) was promoted.Meanwhile, the structure of slag was modified by addition of TiO2.
