Abstract: The jet sucking cyclonic ultramicron classifier is a new type ultramicron classification devicewith parallel nozzles and series diffusers. It has the advantages of forced dispersing particles andprecise changeable cutsize classification. The experimental results showed that a minimum aver-age classification size of 0. 1 5 um was obtained. The velocity field of the jet sucking cyclone wasanalysed and the theoretical equation for the cut-size was derived.
