Abstract: The influence of a transitional element,Mo,on the magnetic properties as well as thermalstability of an amorphous Fe-based alloy was investigated in this paper. Results showed that theMo addition can significantly decrease the Curie temperature Tc,saturation magnelostriction λsand specific saturation magnetization σs of the amorphous alloy. In comparison with the FeSiBglass, the Mo-doped glass exhibits better thermal stability and more complicated crystallization process.
