Abstract: A study about the adsorption mechanism of sodium oleate on feldspar and quartz is briefly introduced. The investigation works found that the active silicon on quartz surface has some reaction with oleate ions. Based on the data from XPS analysis, the thickness of the adsorption layeron feldspar was calculated.
