CARRIER FLOTATION OF ULTRAFINE PARTICLE WOLFRAMITE

Abstract: Carrier flotation behaviour and mechanism of ultrafine particle wolframite using chelate reagent as collector have been studied. The recovery of-5μm wolframite can be enhanced significantly through carrier flotation using chelating agent as collector. The adsorption mechanism of chelating agent on the surface of wolframite is that insoluble chelate settlement is preduced due to chemical reaction between chelating agent and metallic ions on the surface of wolframite. The-5μm wolframite particles are attached.
