EFFECT OF EXTRUSION TEMPERATURE ON PROPERTIES OF Al-Fe-X ALLOY

Abstract: Multi-stage RS powder-making device was applied to produce Al-Fe-V-Si alloy powder.The powder filled in rubber cans was consolidated by means of CIP. The effect of preheat temperature on the properties of elevated temperature RS Al-Fe-V-Si alloy was investigated. The microstructure of the samples was observed by TEM. The relationship between hot processing parameters and properties of Al-Fe-X RS alloy was discussed.
