Abstract: High-cycle fatigue (HCF) behavior of as-forged-T5 Mg-Zn-Y-Zr wrought alloy with stress-ratio R=-1 at ambient environment was presented. The relationship between the maximum stress and the number of cycles to failure was constructed. The results show that the fatigue strength at 107 cycles of the as-forged alloy in T5 state is higher than that of the alloy in T4 state. However, in T6 state, the fatigue strength at 107 cycles is higher than those of the alloys in both T5 and T4 states.
