MICROSTRUCTURE AND Jc OF Y-Ba-Cu-O SUPERCONDUCTOR AFTER Po2-ALTERNATIVE HEAT TREATMENT

Abstract: The effect of Po2-alternative heat treatment on the melting point,the microstructure and the Jc of  YBa2Cu3O7-δ superconductor has been investigated. It is found that the melting point of  YBa2Cu3O7-δ decreasedto 900℃ when Po2 decreased to 10 Pa. The texture of the YBa2Cu3O7-δ polycrystal could occur at temperatures lower than 920℃ after Po2 -alternative treatment.
